Great Hotel with the Pompeii Archeological Park at your doorstep. Staff friendly. Good WiFi.

The location is perfect, just near the entrance to Pompeii. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Free parking space just next to the hotel. Unfortunately the room was very disappointing and I'm being gentle here. We took the suite. It was old,smelly and very cold with tiny air-conditioner. We were freezing. No toilet paper, the lights in the bathroom was half working, the water did not drain in the shower, broken soap wreck. The location is right on the street and you can hear all the noise even at 5 am. Just waited to check out.

Our very nice room was located a few meters away at Palazzo Balsamo, while reception, breakfast, and parking were at the main Santa Caterina building. Giovanni makes the best coffee there!! Make sure to ask for caffè napoletano, it's the best ever!

Great hotel with very friendly staff. The location is excellent, near Pompeii ruins and restaurants and shops, plus the church. The breakfast is very good, and they make your coffee to order. Rooms are great for families, plus the beds and porch are excellent. Two train stations nearby, walking distance. Highly recommended when in Pompei.

Location is very good, next to the main street, it felt like a safe area (not the whole city felt like that). Receptionist was nice and friendly, good quality breakfast, lots of options to choose from (mainly pastries and cakes). The room is very old fashioned but clean. Internet was ok as well but not everywhere. However, the noise from 6am was horrible, trash man was dragging metal containers through the streets and the sound of it was just horrible, impossible to sleep. This lasted for quite some time. Afterwards breakfast time started and the room was just next to the breakfast area so it was not easy to sleep as well because you could hear all the noises.

This is not the hotels fault but getting a good night's sleep is next to impossible. Traffic outside is constant and the locals use their car horns constantly. Bottle collection at 4am wakes you up, the church bells at 7am wake you up. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful, the coffee in the morning was very very nice. The hotel is perfectly situated however could do with a few improvements. Only one of the plug sockets in our room works. The bed is rock hard, some people like that. Our room had been broken into in the past, and the door jam poorly repaired, as the safe is only screwed to a wooden wardrobe we took our valuables with us. You can only get in the hotel by being buzzed In so I guess only guests and staff can get in. The breakfast is nice, lots of local pastries, some fruit and cereals...and local coffee and juices. Overall a nice honest hotel but extremely loud.

Staff was very inviting and helpful. The location was nice and convenient being that it was across the Pompeii ruins and around great restaurants and shops. Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent! A bit noisy at times but hey i love Italian living! We will definitely recommend to our family and friends. Two thumbs up!!
